We had a ton of great photos of my family, Christian and I from the Paradise Cove Luau , as well as from the Lanikai pillboxes hike we did – so I decided to just share them all in one blog post.

My family has been doing all sorts of activities and hikes while they’re visiting us in Hawaii, so I’ll do another round-up blog post once their trip is over of some of the restaurants and tourist activities they enjoyed in case anyone is interested or planning on visiting Oahu at some point!!

It has been so great to show our guests island life and to experience Hawaii through fresh eyes. It really makes you doubly appreciate getting to live in such a beautiful place when you witness other people seeing it for the first time in all of its bright blue, vibrant green and floral-dotted splendor 🙂 It’s also really fun to have more people to take photos of and for, and to have volunteers that will take pictures of Christian and I together since we never really get to take any couple photos here! (One of us is always the one using the camera.) We might take advantage of the extra hands and make one of our house guests do a photo series of us on the beach while they’re here, since I know I’ll want photos of Christian and I in all of our beach-life glory to look back on someday. So stay tuned for that!
